Facebook changes are huge: Here's what I've got so far from watching the live feeds from the F8 conference today.
- In addition to the 'like' button - new VERB buttons will include: watch, read, eat, listen and more
- New Music, Video, Books SHARING feature will let you share with your friends instantaneously.
- The SOCIAL READER let's you add your favorite online news sources. And that content will feed right into your timeline so you never have to leave Facebook again - except to feed the cats and take the dog for a walk.
- Your profile page is being replaced with the TIMELINE. Share and highlight your most memorable posts, photos and life events. Similar to a digital scrapbook. Facebook's new timeline.
- The new Open Graph is making it easier for developers to integrate Apps into your TIMELINE. For instance if you're interested in a certain cause and you watch their video, your friends may be able to see that video also.
- The Real-Time Ticker is integrated with Spotify for example. With just one click you and your friends can discover new music together and listen to it instantly. 15 million tracks for free.
- Make sure you check all your privacy settings and choose who sees what content! The Subscribe to public updates feature is optional; you can turn it on or leave it off (off is the default).
Also, the timeline version of your profile may be optional. More info on that as soon as I get it.

Maybe you don't want to see every time your brother plays a game on Facebook, for example. Or maybe you'd like to see more stories from your best friends, and fewer from your coworkers. You also couldn't hear directly from people you're interested in but don't know personally—like journalists, artists and political figures. With the Subscribe button, we're making it easier to do both. In the next few days, you'll start seeing this button on friends' and others' profiles. You can use it to:
You're already getting your friends' posts in News Feed. With the Subscribed button, you can choose how much you see from them:

When it comes to social networking you do business the way you do life,
working to become a worthy friend and letting your friends introduce
you to theirs. People are social creatures and they want to do business with people they know – or at least within six degrees of separation. Facebook is a great example of duplicating personal
social networking to professional social networking.
